Helen Davey is an exquisite Australian songwriter, composer and improviser, currently based in Zurich, Switzerland. She moves happily between contemporary acoustic and experimental genres with strong influences of world-folk and jazz. Performing as a soloist, in several duos and with her trio, Helen is a multi instrumentalist (voice, piano, guitar, accordion, zither and percussion). Her speciality is interactive "sound-painting": creating spontaneous music in direct response to other art forms or to an audience's stories.
